Guestbook Script

Please note that our scripts are designed to function for our FTP users only. If you have requested FrontPage extensions, you will need to use the scripts that are accessed through FrontPage itself.

To add a guestbook, you will need to copy three HTML files to your web site in the /web directory. Click here to download them in the ZIP format. These files are:

addguest.html - The HTML file that adds an entry to guestbook.html
guestbook.html - The guestbook itself.
guestlog.html - The guestbook log file.

Before you upload addguest.html to your website, you will need to change yourdomain.com to your domain name within the HTML before the guestbook will work. The line that needs to be modified is shown below:

<form method="POST" action="http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi/guestbook.pl">

You can of course change the layout of the HTML files to suit your website. Please make sure that you do not remove or change any of the tags as they are required for the script to work.
